Muscles allow for movement of the body as well as maintaining posture and supporting joint structures. In order for these muscles to be maintained, we must complete exercises on a daily basis to ensure tone, strength and flexibility of our muscles are upheld. Exercises are essential for all ages, especially for children. Development of the musculo-skeletal system allows for correct posture to present and so posture does not deteriorate with the sedentary lifestyle the majority of the population now lead.
